Amos 9:13
Today was one of those days. One of those good days with God where I took the time and listened. Just listened as He talked. Where I kept my mouth shut and received. A true time of communion. I was thankful for it. And I journaled His promises and my goals and dreams for 2012. Along side of my quiet time came a time of prayer for a several things that are going on in my life and some specifics for a few of my close friends. You know who you are, and I am standing and believing with you in this season of your life.
Amos 9:13 in the Message Bible says this, "Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing on the heels of the other. You won't be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once, and everywhere you look blessings - blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and the hills!"
I receive it. Do you? Go ahead take this verse that I shared... and run with it. What is God going to reveal to you through His Word?
Love,
T

the condensed version: cabo with the crowells
We had a wonderful family vacation, with our buddies the Crowells. Jay, Jen & Kingston invited us to go to their "home away from home" ... Cabo! We all enjoyed this first of many vacations together. Our big boys love chillin' together and our little boys, well the same. I love it that at this point in time, we have boys! And then of course, Jen and I - we just can't get enough of each other. Our week long vacation consisted of: tortillas (TONS), our own baby schedules, and both mamas' stuck to our routines religiously, reading, swimming, long morning walks, feeding the fish (everyday, this was by far Enzo's favorite part), ceviche, swinging on the swings, sunshine, hand & foot, movies, drinking lava flows (virgin style, yes we are STILL breastfeeding!), laying out, and ventured off the resort once as a group to Mi Casa, a yummy restaurant. Oh, and I can't forget the ear infection. Enzo came down with a sinus thing just two days before we were to leave for home. He rarely gets sick, but this was the real deal, I haven't seen him feel this bad in a long time. We actually had to have a doctor come to us, check him out, and then have a pharmacy drop off some antibiotics, I was not thrilled about this. I was hesitant to say the very least. I called my doctor back at home, and $40 later in roaming fees, for a 8 minute phone conversation, I was put to ease, they said not to be worried, that the antibiotics in Mexico are very similar, if not the exact same to the ones at home. So, I prayed. And prayed. And all was well, he was much better 24 hours later, thank God. Once, again this was the condensed version! We love you J&J&K. We are blessed to be besties. Our life is just plain more fun with you!!!

Pinterest. I really like you.
Just wanted to say how fond I am of the ever popular site, Pinterest. I have gotten so many ideas, and have found myself even more crafty then I ever thought. For those of you who don't know, its a virtual pinboard, where you "pin" all the ideas you see that you would want to do in the future, whether it be for kids, food, parties, crafts, the home, etc...here are a few names of my "pin boards," foodie, hostess with the "mostess," the boys, one of these days...(referring to having a little girl, someday, maybe...), and many more. Go check it out, I dare ya! You too, Chelsea Bell!

Rocco's Dedication
On January 8, 2012 we dedicated our son to the Lord. He was 6mos & 2wks old. It was a beautiful occasion, filled with love and joy. All the grandparents were in attendance which meant a lot, Nonni & Papa, Grandma Nee Nee & Mark, and Papa Pete & Diane, as well, as Gigi & Pa (which is my grandma and grandpa), and Rocco's great uncle, Uncle Tony. It meant a lot that you could be there it was extra special having all his grandparents surrounding him, believing together for his life. His destined life. We covered him in prayer, and asked God to do mighty things in his life, and to give Rocco a boldness that cannot be shaken. Rocco you are steadfast, you are strong, you are deliberate, and you are loved by us, but even more by your Heavenly Father. To God be the Glory.

SNOW day!
Yesterday and today have been quite fun around here. Winter has arrived, even if it's just for a few days... Enzo has enjoyed the snowman building and snowball fights with Mom & Dad, playing with his cousins on sleds, and his all time favorite --- eating snow. Everytime we look his way, there he is, picking up a lump of snow and stuffing his face! And after all the outdoor festivities, we've been coming in for cups of coco with marshmallows, let's just say he's in heaven. And little bro, well, he gets to nap while we're out in the cold, wet, snow. Today, was particularly fun, because after all the play, and once Rocco was up for his two hour nap - our little family of four went to Ristrettos for lunch. A mini-outing that MOM really needed. We love our DAD time!!!
